The Victoria and Albert Museum and the London Eye

Tuesday February 17 I passed in my last paper and finished my last exam for the first half of the semester. After my room mate Carly finished up her exams we went out to do some touristy things. First we walked down the street to the Victoria and Albert Museum which is very expansive and covered a wide range of exhibits. We spent a lot of time in the fashion and jewelery sections, but also went through the Raphael and European gallerias. It was very pretty and FREE. My friend Hillary read that the museum's collection is so big it can only display 3% of it at a time. I am not sure if this is true...but that would be amazing if it is.

We went to go get snacks after the museum and ended up at the Pink Berry of London, SNOG. It is very high quality organic frozen yogurt. I had kiwi and raspberries on mine! Then we also stopped by the Hummingbird Bakery which is suppose to have amazing cupcakes. They were just okay, Carly says Magnolia in NYC is much better. (Yes, I basically had cupcakes and frozen yogurt for dinner hehe)

Then Carly and I went down to Westminster to hop on The London Eye. There was almost no line which was great because I am pretty sure in the summer the lines are huge. It was kind of expense at 15 GBP but we both really wanted to be able to say we did it. There were great views of the city, especially of the beautiful lit up Houses of Parliment right near by.

Tomorrow, Wednesday February 18 I go to Rome for a few days! I will definitely have a lot to write about when I get back from there :)
