After tea just Carly and I went to see The Taming of the Shrew which was performed by the Royal Shakespear Company at the Novello Theater. It was very well done and I could actually follow it even though I had not read it. It also helped that the movie "10 Things I Hate About You" is based off it so I could relate to that. The costumes and sets were very pretty. I might read the book this summer, IF I have time :-)
Saturday February 14 (Valentine's Day) I studied a lot but my friends and I ordered Chinese food which was an ordeal in itself. It turns out that Britons do not have crab rangoon so I was very dismayed about that. But they are very very into "prawns" here, which are shrimp. I ended up getting salmon wantons (salmon rangoon) which was just okay. After that we spontaneously decided to make a Vday cake! That was very fun and very yummy!
I have two finals coming up, on on Monday and one on Tuesday. Then I go to Rome VERY early Wednesday morning. I will write all about Rome when I get back! :-)
