First full week of classes

Everything has calmed down because of classes.

Monday and Tuesday (January 19 and 20) I had my "Current Issues in British Welfare Society" class. It seems really interesting and I will learn a lot about how the British socialist system works. Of course this will give me lots of ammunition when I get in debates with die hard liberals about the United States system haha. Tuesday after class the BU program had TVs and pizza set up for us to watch the inauguration. It was really fun to watch it with a crowd of people and everyone was cheering.

On Wednesday January 21 I had my business class and it seems to have improved since the first class. It became more interesting and the teacher was not as boring. My business class is in the morning so my friend Hillary and I decided to go sightseeing the afternoon. First we went to St. Paul's but it cost 9 pounds to get in and so we decided to skip it. Hillary will go back with her parents and I have already been there technically. Then, we walked to the Museum of London which was very interesting and free! yay! After that we walked across the Millennium Bridge to the Tate Modern Art Museum. We both don't really have a complete appreciation for modern art but we wanted to say that we went (and its free). We did some some interesting pieces and some crazy bizarre pieces. Like a giant spider that is the size of a house.

Today, Thursday January 22, I had class and ran a bunch of errands. Tonight I need to prep for my interview tomorrow. I am interviewing with KPMG for an internship. Its part of the BU program to do an internship for credit....I also need to pack for Edinburgh tonight because we are leaving tomorrow afer my interview!! :-)
